►Out of the mouths of babes and sucklings comes the truth

In French we say "La vérité sort de la bouche des enfants", in English people usually say the first part : "Out of the mouths of babes" because one thinks that everyone knows the rest of the expression.

Here is a selection of some pure truths uttered by children. They're often very funny too.

Which is your favourite ? Can you maybe explain why ?

6-year-old: Can I have some Oreos?

Me: You have the flu.

6: I’m sick, not dead.

Me: Those are the people who want to be president.

4-year-old: What's that?

Me: The person in charge of everything.

4: They want to be Mom?
